Some kids don't want homework during the summer and some kids do. This is my opinion of both ideas. I think kids shouldn't have homework during the summer because if students just get a short review in the beginning of the year kids will remember what they learned the year before. However I think kids should have summer homework because they will learn new stuff before school starts.

I think that kids should not have summer homework because it's good for them to figure out what they might read or think about on their own!
No reading lists!
